Wood destroying insect inspections
We perform an unbiased inspection for all Wood destroying insects including subterranean termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees and re-infesting wood boring beetles. This inspection is reported on the state approved NPMA-33 inspection form. Remember, we have no reason to tell you that you have, or don’t have an infestation because we won’t treat a house that we inspect.

Radon SignRadon gas measurement
Radon exposure is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers and causes lung cancer in smokers as well. Recently the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Science Advisory Board increased the radon risk assessment by more than 50% and now estimates 21,000 American die of radon-induced lung cancer annually. Testing is the only way to find out about your home’s radon level. The EPA and the Surgeon General recommend testing of all homes below the third floor for radon. If you find that you have high radon levels, there are ways to fix a radon problem. Even very high levels can be reduced to acceptable levels. Get more information about Radon from the EPA’s “Home Buyers and Sellers Guide to Radon or www.cansar.org

Septic dye test
The Septic dye test is used to identify leaks or overloads in a septic system on the day of the inspection. This cannot normally be done on a vacant home.

Mold inspections
Mold in residential housing can be a health concern for some people. If there is a large colony of mold in a building, there is a moisture problem, e.g. plumbing leaks, high humidity, roof leaks, condensation, etc. We offer thorough visual inspections for mold and mold species identification in certain circumstances.
